Tinne with Border Collies Missy and Echo

Hey, I'm Tinne! 👋

Together with my boyfriend, two Border Collies (Missy, 11 years old & Echo, 2 years old) and two cats (Oakley & Mochi), I've been living in Norway since November, after having lived in Belgium for years.

As a certified pet nutritionist, I help pets achieve optimal health and vitality.

My journey into nutrition began with Echo's hyperactivity as a puppy. When a dietary change transformed him from a restless dog into a balanced one, I realized how big the impact of nutrition can be. Not just in that moment, but throughout an entire life. How can we invest now so our pets don't just live longer, but especially stay vital and happy?

For whom is this?

The Echo of Food is for pet owners who think ahead and invest in the health of their dog or cat. You don't need to be an expert, but you are curious and want to learn how to give your pet a vital, long life.

This is for you if:

  • You want to work proactively instead of waiting until problems arise
  • You're open to nutrition optimization, whether that's fresh, kibble, or a combination
  • You value both natural approaches and regular veterinary care
  • You're actively involved and see health as a collaboration

Longevity is about small, conscious choices you make now. If you're ready for that, I'm here to support you with knowledge and guidance.

The story behind
The Echo of food

The Echo of Food is first and foremost named after Echo, my little soulmate who showed me how big the impact of nutrition can be.

But the name has an even deeper meaning... Just like an echo continues to resonate, nutrition has a lasting effect on your pet's health. What we feed today resonates in their well-being tomorrow.

This philosophy forms the core of my approach: by investing in the right nutrition now, we build a healthier future for your pet.

When can I help?

Nutrition can make a difference at any moment, especially when you invest proactively in your dog or cat's health.

Whether you've just brought home a puppy or kitten and want to lay the right foundation from the start, or you want to work on optimal health for your adult pet, nutrition plays a major role in their wellbeing.

Proactive intervention can also help prevent health issues later when dealing with overweight or increased risk of it.

Additionally, I support during specific life stages such as pregnancy and lactation, where the nutritional needs of mother and puppies or kittens require extra attention.

And as your dog or cat gets older? Longevity-focused nutrition helps not just add years to their life, but especially life to their years. By making the right choices now, you invest in their vitality for the future.

As a holistic pet nutritionist, I work complementary to veterinary care. My advice is focused on prevention and wellbeing promotion through nutrition and lifestyle, and does not replace veterinary care. In case of illness or acute symptoms, I always recommend contacting your veterinarian. I work together with veterinarians to achieve the best for your pet.
